A Delhi Police constable is on the run after allegedly shooting his wife dead in east Delhi’s Kalyanpuri following an argument while the couple was travelling on a scooter, police said.
Investigators said the constable, Manish Bhati, allegedly stopped the scooter during the altercation, opened fire on his wife and fled the scene. Police have launched a search operation and are examining CCTV footage to track the accused.

According to police, four to five people who witnessed the incident rushed the injured woman to a nearby hospital in an autorickshaw. Doctors later declared her dead.
